The Original Famous Uncle Al’s is located on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach. Al Stein, aka “Famous Uncle Al”, began serving up the best hot dogs around in 1985. He previously worked in his family’s deli in Rockaway, bringing his Brooklyn roots to Virginia Beach. The rest is history in the making!

We are the original Famous Uncle Al’s, where it all started. We enjoy serving both the local community and tourists who stop in! While there are several Famous Uncle Al’s restaurants in the area, they are all slightly different. We’ve served generations over the years, watching families grow and providing a sense of community, while serving some of the yummiest food around!
